This project is part of Tenaris University, a continuous training program coordinated with Rice University and IMD for Tenaris employees, managers and directors, split in 4 main locations (Italy, Argentina, Mexico, Romania) and 8 learning centers in Argentina, Italy, Mexico, Usa, Romania, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Arab Emirates. Veracruz’s schedule is characterized by the International Orientation program.
The program for this building described both traditional classrooms and workshops. Given the heavier equipment used in the workshops, we decided to place them on the ground floor and the classrooms on the first floor, connecting them through a double height entrance atrium, that houses staircases and common facilities. The atrium follows Mayan arc shape used for the Headquarter Building to underline the public space vocation of this part of the building.
